Why we started this
Auto repair has a reputation problem. People walk into shops expecting to be upsold, talked down to, or quoted prices that mysteriously go up halfway through the job. We started Next Gen Auto Repair to be the opposite of that.
The model is simple: you call or text. We give you a firm quote before we drive out. We show up at your driveway or office, do the work where you can see it, and hand you an itemized invoice when we're done. No waiting room. No tow truck. No shop overhead baked into your bill.
Who we work on
We service every make and model, and we have particular experience with brands like Porsche, BMW, Audi, and Subaru. If you own one of these in Central Oregon, you know your closest dealer can be hours away. We do most routine service on these brands at your driveway so you don't have to lose a weekend to the drive.
We also work on every other make: domestic, Asian, daily drivers, work trucks, RVs, and project cars. We treat every vehicle with the same care.
Where we work
We're based in Bend and serve all of Central Oregon — Bend, Redmond, Sunriver, Tumalo, La Pine, Sisters, Prineville, and Madras. Bend, Redmond, Tumalo, and Sunriver are part of our standard service area with no extra trip fees. La Pine, Sisters, Prineville, and Madras carry a flat $20 fuel surcharge per visit to cover the round-trip drive — included up front on every quote, no surprises.
The technical side
We carry factory-grade diagnostic scanners, full mobile lift equipment, and the OEM-quality parts most common jobs require. For specialty parts, we can usually source same-day from local dealer parts counters or have them delivered next-day. Licensed in the state of Oregon, insured, and based right here in Central Oregon.
What it costs
Our labor rate is $179/hr with a 1 hour minimum. Parts are billed at cost plus a standard markup. We give you a firm quote before any work starts, and we don't charge trip fees within Central Oregon. The price you're quoted is the price you pay — unless we find something unexpected, in which case we stop and call you before continuing.
