Check engine lights are tricky. The code only tells you what the car is unhappy about, not what's actually broken. We do a full OBD2 scan, but we also pull live data and run additional tests to find the actual root cause — not just throw parts at the symptom.
The $179 diagnostic visit (one hour of focused work) is credited back toward the repair if you have us do it.
We can also clear codes after the repair and verify the fix with a post-repair scan.

We do check engine light diagnostics throughout Central Oregon: Bend, Redmond, Sunriver, Tumalo, La Pine, Sisters, Prineville, Madras, and Madras. Same-day service is typical for Bend and Redmond — for outlying areas we'll schedule the next available day.

3. We do the work. You can watch, you can ask questions, or you can go inside. We'll text you when we're done.
4. You get an itemized invoice. The price you were quoted is the price you pay. We accept cards, cash, Venmo, and Zelle.
